Jiwei Liquid Level Switches Successfully Implemented for Concentrated Sulfuric Acid Level Measurement

The Jiwei Ring-11 Corrosion-Resistant Fork Liquid Level Switches have recently proven effective in measuring and controlling the liquid level of concentrated sulfuric acid storage tanks at a chemical plant in Guangzhou.

Concentrated sulfuric acid is highly corrosive and potentially explosive, capable of causing severe burns and carbonization of skin and tissue. The Ring-11 Corrosion-Resistant Fork Liquid Level Switch from Jiwei is constructed from 316L stainless steel with a 0.5mm ECTFE coating and boasts an IP66/67 protection rating. Its high-temperature piezoelectric ceramic components can withstand baking temperatures up to 250°C during the coating process. The durable bonding of the coating to the fork body ensures strong corrosion resistance and extended service life. Furthermore, the instrument is certified for both Intrinsic Safety (Ex ia IIC T6~T1 Ga) and Flameproof Enclosure (Ex d IIC T6~T1 Gb), providing robust explosion protection. It offers high sensitivity due to precisely pre-adjusted harmonic resonant frequencies, capable of detecting mediums with densities as low as 0.5g/cm³.
