Advanced Application: Extra-Long Vibrating Rod Level Switches for Liquid Precipitate Interface Measurement

Recently, Jiwei’s Tube-11 Interface Vibrating Rod Level Switches were successfully selected in the procurement process for high and low-level control instruments for the slicing water storage tanks and extraction towers at a Shandong Chemical Plant.

The Tube-11 Interface Vibrating Rod Level Switch is capable of detecting solids interfaces (separation layers) within a liquid, making it an economical solution for various level and interface measurements with a minimum density difference of 0.1g/cm³ between precipitates and liquids. Its comprehensive IP66/IP67 Ingress Protection ensures maximum sealing performance. Additionally, the switch is certified for Intrinsic Safety (Ex ia IIC T6-T1 Ga, Ex iaD 20 T85-450℃) and Explosion-Proof (Ex d IIC T6-T1 Gb, Ex tD A21 IP66 T80-440℃), allowing safe operation in hazardous areas. The ultra-high temperature probe is designed for high-temperature applications, withstanding up to 400℃.

To address the energy loss characteristic in the 2.9-meter Tube-11 Interface Vibrating Rod Level Switches, counterweight blocks have been installed at the end of the extension tubes. This effectively reduces energy loss during energy transmission, providing highly accurate monitoring to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.

The order consists of 100 pieces of Tube-11 Interface Vibrating Rod Level Switches, most exceeding 1.9 meters in length, with the longest measuring 2.9 meters. Currently, Jiwei is the only manufacturer in China capable of producing 2.9-meter-long Interface Vibrating Rod Level Switches, establishing itself as a forerunner in the industry.
